Im a good looking guy. I'm no model but I've gotten enough attention from women and enough compliments to feel good...but at 44 my crown is starting to thin in a weird donut pattern ( just got on the min and finasteride) BUT it SUCKS SO MUCH....and people say "you can barely notice"

BUT I'm so insecure about it..so surely we can all understand this ain't easy for this young man

No.... you're being superficial and insecure....I know because I'm superficial and insecure....but personally o know lots of real men who are bald....

Do you not realize a secure man bald man who can be bald is more attractive than an insecure bald man who hides behind a piece??

The piece is a tonne of work at his age.

Man.....I'd rather be impotent from finasteride than bald..but I can admit I'm insecure. I know bald men who don't let hair define them and they have wives too... some attractive...

That said, I'm gonna snort a few grams of finasteride, soak my entire head in minoxidil and wear my laser cap to bed ...if I wake up bald, I'm getting a piece.

But let the kid live. He's fine and he's ok without hair. He's handsome in a non traditional way. Nice eye, nose, lips, good jaw line...yeah his forehead is a little prominent but who cares...

That said his shirt says sniper ..so be careful if you go to the same school....

All of this has nothing to do with being proud or accepting it, he just doesn't look good bald. If you seriously believe looking like this isn't a real detriment to your quality of life at that age then you're deluded. Your argument is basically 'I know some bald men with wives'. You're 44 with a thinning crown, how could you ever relate to this guy?

QUESTION: I've been on minoxidil for 6 months. My crown has filled in some but not enough. Fibres are great but how do I do a full contact sport and not go from bald to not bald by the end of class ...so:

Will finasteride potentially REGROW or THICKEN my crown?? I don't care about my hair line. For some reason receding hairlines don't bother me: crown balding does?

If finasteride only maintains and minoxidil hasn't done enough can I add scalp pigmentation tattoo? When I grow my hair a little longer you can barely see the thinning thanks to minoxidil BUT when my hair is shorter at times I'd like a SCALP PIGMENTATION TATTOO.

Note: my entire CROWN IS NOT THIN: that's just the camera flash but there is definitely a small roundish donut shape spot that is thinning. People say it's barely noticeable especially when I grow out my hair BUT Im sensitive and I don't have money for a transplant. Hoping the finasteride will work (2 months). The minoxidil has helped but only 50%.....

Regarding people posting picture of people to get our opinions like the OP, this has to be the worst place for it.

I've had hairloss thats bothered me for 20 years, but never have I got anywhere near close to some of the users on here who believe it's some kind of terminal illness.

It's actually incredible just how wrong a lot of people on this forum are of how the general population treat bald people. I won't list the famous one been done to many times alreadt. if it was so bad and a terminal illness it wouldn't be a wide spread mocking term to joke about how bald someone is.

It's crap, but not to the point some of the bitter and dilusion users on here are, and I'm referring to those who actively hate on people who post pictures for opinions. Honest or not, there is zero need for the brutal responses
