Is This A Crown Cowlick Or Something I Should Be Concerned About?

Hi Guys, I actually posted earlier on during today regarding my crown and how I am not sure if it’s thinning or not.

The reason I am creating another thread is because the previous post for me got messy and my comments just weren’t working so I’ve started a fresh page.

So basically, I am a little bit concerned with my crown! I don’t know if it’s the start of baldness or just a cowlick making it appear to be thin?

I will attach hairline and temple photos for you guys as it will help your determinations abit better!

.Father has a full head of hair at 46
.Maternal Grandfather lost some but not all hair
.Maternal Uncle diffuse thinned

I had a range of different opinions so try and be as accurate as you can and just tell me straight up what you think is going on!

I’m 20 years old by the way.

Somebody mentioned my hairline was thinning but I can’t really see it? It’s mainly my crown I’m concerned about!

IMO your are fine. I feel like some of be neckbeard here forget what “normal” hair is suppose to look like.

Keep monitoring your hair every couple of months if you are worried.

Thank you for the reply! I have managed to get some very close up photos of my crown if that helps with anyone’s opinion!

I'd say it looks pretty normal to me, it's just the way your hair grows.

probably watch for a few months and see if its stable. An alternative is to buzz your hair down with a 4 gaurd, makes it much easier to see

if youre concerned visit a derm whi has special decices to look for minaturised hair folicles
