Is this a bald spot?

I don't know if this is a bald spot, or a natural part or whatever they're called. I'm asking here because I am not 100% sure this is a bald spot because I did not have it prior to starting finasteride around 6 months ago, so I don't know if it's from shedding (I had a big shed that destroyed my hair, it lost maybe 30% density, which hasn't regrown yet, but I am optimistic), a natural part forming, or somehow, a bald spot popping up while on finasteride, at age 19, which is weird IMO.

You are starting to show signs of thinning.

Some of the thinning is from my finasteride shed, which I lost a lot. Do you think this area can be a result of the shed? Other areas like my hairline took a big hit as well, I can actually see my scalp when I stand my hair straight up. I just hope the hair that shed grows back and stays that way.
