I don't think there is nothing developing at your crown, little bigger cowlick. If I wash my hair before sleep, rub my head on pillow, in the morning my hair looks like I'm balding heavily, and I have nasty cowlick.
As soon as I wash my hair and blow dry it it looks like I'm 15y/o again.

Can you feel difference on your fingers while touching your hair, sides, crown, front?
