Is there still time to save my hairline?

Hey guys, I'm a 20 year old male who apparently has had some receding over the past two or so years. I wasn't paying attention and it happened. Anyway...my problem is basically in the front. I have noticed that there are still hairs in the receding areas however...they are just small and thin. If I get on something, is it possible that these hairs can regrow? I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon, and was thinking of Propecia (though I'm reading that Avodart is in fact better). Propecia apparently can promote some regrowth, or I could just use Rogaine for that.
Here are pics of my miniaturized hairs, plus a video of me showing the bad areas:

The answer is pretty simple, and could be used for anyones hairloss situation: If you're a responder to current meds and catch it early, you have a chance. If you're not a responder, you're ****ed. Try and find out. I've rarely seen good regrowth on temples, though.

propecia wont regrow temples /hairline in like 95% cases. In some cases propecia also leads to thinning hairline/temples.

i d suggest you minoxidil , castor/emu oil and maybe dermarolling too.
