Thank you guys, it helps a lot. Do you guys have any recommendations on how to stop worrying about it? It's just such a self conscious thing, you know? Stress doesn't help...
There is a very simple way to stop worrying.
Photos.
And not the quality of pics you have showing above.
Get a friend, or a bright sunlit room and start taking high quality digital images of your hair. Wet, and dry. Styled and unstyled. Get it as wet as possible, so you see as much skin as possible, and take pictures of it looking its worst.
Make sure the focus is 100% perfect, and the images are large megapixel-wise.
High quality digital images of your hair in every possible state.
Then save them on your computer.
The days that you begin to doubt, or worry, open up the pictures and watch your concerns fade away instantly. It works. Pictures will help keep you from "thinking" that things have gotten worse when they haven't. They will correct the paranoia your minds-eye starts.
Make sure you put a date on the pictures, or label the directory on your computer so you know when it was taken. The further you get - 1 year, 2 years 3 years down the road, youll see nothing has changed ... and you'll be very happy you took them.
When you start to lose hair, you dont notice it in the mirror anyways. Its all over the place.
Take pics.
