Is there a difference between PG free liquid and foam irritation-wise?

I am using a PG free liquid minoxidil formulation (Lipogaine for Sensitive skin,) and I'm wondering if foam is less irritating. Does the liquid contain other irritants besides PG that the foam doesn't?

Is minoxidil Itself Irritating? I have seborrheic dermatitis, but lots of people have it who use minoxidil, right?

The liquid irritates the hell out of me. PG or not. I actually just tried a 15% PG free minoxidil liquid, and the irritation was worst than the one with PG. It's a confusing journey and you have to try a lot of things before you determine which one is right. Why don't you order some generic minoxidil foam and try it for a few days?

I actually have 6 bottles of generic 5% foam at home that my mom bought and never used a while ago. I'm just worried about switching to 5% when I'm already shedding so much on 2%. I'm planning on doing it eventually, though, whenever I can build up the courage. Thanks for your input.

Application must be much easier with liquid though, right? My hair is long, all 10 strands of it! That's the thing I'm worried about with foam, application.

You have a LOT of hair!! Foam is actually a lot easier imo
