I had a nice big tax return this year, and went ahead and bought one. Been using per the instructions religiously for over 3 months and can't tell it's done anything for me at all. Anyone have any luck with it?

There is nothing on this planet that can grow back a full head of hair through male pattern baldness. Make up your own mind.......

It was being looked at by the FDA for approval, so there might be something to it.

But yes, make up your own mind.

Correct.

Also because of the length of the hair growth cycle three months is far too early to judge any treatment that deals with scalp hair.

I don't think anyone here thinks the lazer comb is 'snake oil' but it currently does not have the user feedback we have for the more common treatments.

Good Luck and keep us informed of any progress.

I read some more material about it and will give an update when I hit 6 months. I'm also on 3 other treatments so it wont be real accurate.

well, mine as well put in my two cents... i have the lasercomb.. been using it 2x weekly for 13 weeks... and my hair is worse than it has ever been.. (check out my posts about my frontal hairline problem) i havent seen any positive results, but tremendous negative ones.. my 'frontal' pretty much has been destroyed.. (shed and thinned)

also, i have been using propecia for 12 weeks... perhaps that had a negative impact on results..

I personally would like to see some discussion of the science to back it up. Laser light is just more intense light. Nobody claims hair growing powers for normal light, therefore why for the laser comb?

I have been using the comb for about three months, with probably minimal results. I do have some new terminal hairs growing in at my hairline, so I'm not sure if its due to the comb though. I still say its to early for me to give a verdict on it yet.

Who claims healing powers from normal light? yet its been PROVEN that LLT and lasers can be used medically for pain releif / healing.

UV will kill bacteria, and strong lasers will cauterise wounds. This much I know, but there is little to suggest that it encourages regenerative processes in cellular tissue.

For those who have used the LC, I challenge you to ask family members or those close to you if they see a difference. We all know that when it comes to evaluating our hairloss that we can be our own worst critic. However, when those around us who see us on a daily basis offer a comment or evaluation, we can see things from quite a different perspective! Of course, this just doesn't go for the LC but every other proven treament as well.

Laser light is a funny thing though. Travis Walton the guy that was taken by a UFO from the national forest of northeastern Arizona claimed to have grown 50% more hair after the abduction. The placebo group (guys who stayed on truck) reported no increase in hair count.

So there you have it. Laser therapy can work for some people.

Well, Ive been using my LC for about 4 months now and I havent seen any improvement whatsoever.
I'll keep using it, just for the hell of it, but my doubts are considerably larger.

20sometingtoo, have you asked for an extension on the LC guarantee so that you can still get your money back after five months? What are others saying about your hair?

They havent been able to coment because I've been hiding it under a hat.
But I know for sure that it hasnt improved and in fact gotten worse.
But I have non-pattern diffuse problem (meaning all over myhead) so I'm not sure what's going on. I'm seeing the derm on wed.
