Is tape really 'more rough' on UTS than glue/bond?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of asking my stylist next week to switch me to a tape/bond hybrid -- bond in the front, tape in the back. I think this would be easier for cleanup around the 2 week mark.

She's said a few times to me that tape shortens the life span of the base as it's more prone to ripping.

What you y'all think?

I disagree. Pulling tape off lace haphazardly will stretch it......with poly, will tear it. Just be careful.... I'm over 3 years with .03 poly .... all tape except hairline... no issues...

UTS is delicate as it is. You should only really be getting just over a month out of it and tape is fine (provided it's applied and removed correctly).
