I've read it helps the body to adapt and the first 1 or 2 weeks it should be taken every 2 days. Im talking about the 1mg dose. Opinions?
Is taking propecia one pill every 2 days for the first week smart?

Start even smaller if your in no rush. I started at something like 0.25mg every 3 days to begin with for about 2 weeks, then slowly upped my dose over 2 months. I suffered no sides apart from
a ver slight itch around nipples, which was only in the first week.

I am in a rush, my temples are receded to the point of hating myself and i want to get a transplant at the end of the year, and a good one too if i can afford it
From what i've read so far taking finasteride every 2nd or 3rd day still works but doesnt work as well as taking it everyday, and it doesn't help in avoiding sides.

Starting slowly and tapering on is a sensible option in my opinion, there's no harm in it. If you've got a sensitive endocrine system the dramatic reduction in DHT can "shock" your body and lead to adverse reactions.
Do something similar to smyth and start with 0.25mg every 2 days or so, and go from there.

I also plan to start Propecia on a low dose of around 0.25mg or 0.5mg. In doing this, will I be able to identify the potential side effects of taking a higher dose? Anyway, keep us updated. I wish you the best of luck, man!

To be honest OP, I would just start with taking the recommended dose of 1 mg of Finasteride daily, there's no need to start with one Propecia pill every other two days for the first week.
