I have been running 2.4km almost everyday for the past 3 months and average about 12mins.

I would like to know if running actually increase or decrease DHT ?? Im so confused with the results of the search engine. o_O

Or the benefit of increase blood flow to the scalp outweigh the increase of DHT ??

I really don't wish to drop this habit of running.

I would expect that regular cardiovascular activity has a marginal positive effect on hairloss.

We know that healthier blood flow helps, based on the fact that vasodilators help and smoking hurts hair growth. However, the effect is probably small.

Given the fact that balding men are at an elevated risk of heart disease, I think that balding men should exercise, not to protect their hair, but to protect their heart.

I don't know about hair, but it'll destroy your knees over time.
I used to run a lot and played lots of soccer. In my teens up until a couple years ago. 42 now, and my knees are feeling it, so I gave it up. I don't want to have to get knee replacements by the time I hit 60.
It sucks, because I loved going for long runs, but all that pounding on the joints overtime will wear them down quick.

Try to run on more forgiving surfaces like
dirt or gravel paths.
I'm still fit and like to stay active, but i'm on low impact cardio now. But every once in a while I'll break out a few short sprints.
