Toronto pharmacies only seem to have ridiculously overpriced 2% versions only.. try e-bay guys, I get mine 1 week after ordering. I'm in downtown TO.

Thanks guys. It really a downer that Rogaine foam is not widely available out here. How much do you pay on average for your Rogaine foam on Ebay Zero? Even though it's out of stock on this site, I noticed it's priced at $24.99 ... not bad.

So I got a prescription for Propecia on Friday and paid $70 CAD total for a 1 month's supply. It's really depressing to have to live with an expense of $70 bucks a month!!

btw ... I work near the Toronto Eaton Centre :)

I too made the mistake of getting a script for Propecia, and it was a huge financial drain. Instead, request a script for Proscar (5mg finasteride) and break it into 1/4 chunks. Very easy to do with a pill cutter. Proscar is almost half the price and it lasts 4 times as long (120 chunks vs 30 tablets). Just some friendly advice...

@Ninootz

Also, I have heard that there is a pharmacy that prepares the 5% foam on St. Clair Ave. West/Avenue Road area (towards Yonge). I haven't used it myself, but was told that is where to find it if one were interested...

I actually use Kirkland liquid minoxidil.. around $30 for 3 months of worth.
Also, get proscar not propecia.. it's much cheaper.
There's a walk-in clinic called Fastlane walk-in clinic near Christie/Bloor. Go and see Dr. McMillan, he's really cool, will prescribe you with proscar no problem. I get 6 months worth of proscar for $115. Just got another pack last week.
