Is Real Regrowth A Possibility? Should One Only Expect Thin Bad Hair To Grow If Any?

Having dropped to a 2 in just a few months on Keto minoxidil only I am am considering Finasteride.

With another shed I’m facing a 2.5-3 plus a ton of diffuse shedding on the top.

In terms of regrowth will it ever be normal hair or is the best case some short thin maybe terminal hair?

I was a strong wavy 0 in June 2016.
