All Walgreens had was Nizoral 1%, cant get the stronger stuff without a perscription. Will that do? If so, how often should I use it? Every day? I think you're only supposed to use 2% like twice per week.
either way it's not gunna rescue your hair. seems to work well in combination with other treatments (finasteride and min) but i think using 1% nizoral will be just fine as long as it's with something else
2% treated my itchy scalp and been on it for 6months and it is good stuff.
It wont cure hairloss on its own but certainly helps with scalp fungal problems or dandruff
I'm using nizoral 1% every day and a half, so about 4 times a week. My scalp still itches a little sometimes but can we really expect to totally stop scratching our heads entirely?
Anyway, try it for a month or two. What matters is whether or not you get the "tingling" on your scalp. Itchiness (as in urgent, gotta scratch right now) is one thing, but the tingling spells hair loss.
