Hey guys,

I know many of you will be ridiculing me for even asking this, but is my stuff real? My supplier is a pharmasist Dr (I got his reference from a hair loss mentor) and yet i'm still receding in the hairline. It's not a generic brand, but I just wonder as you hear about trials where some people were given a placebo. I'm just a bit frustrated really because i'm 25 in a few months, i've been on this stuff at 1mg or 1.25mg daily for 5 months or so now, and i feel like ive been losing more hair in the last year than i previous had when i was taking generic at a much lower dosage (due to side effects which i no longer seem to get on the branded stuff)

Thanks

What generic Proscar are you using and where is it coming from? Do you get Finasteride online or at an actual pharmacy you go to?

If you have legitimately been taking Finasteride for five months and your hairline is still receding, you're probably not a responder.

It's not the generic stuff, its branded, but i was taking generic before at a much lower dosage. It's from a Dr in England, I've spoken to him on the phone several times now, and the pills came with a script note on the boxes, so it should be legit stuff.

Well you say that but I heard that you shouldnt expect it to stop receding in the hairine anyway, and it works solidly in the mid and back

Try taking actual Propecia instead. Proscar is 5mg and if you cut it in 4 you won't be getting equal parts of finasteride as the finasteride isn't equally distributed throughout the pill.

This is a myth. Without the drug being homogeneously distributed within the filler in each pill, there's no way to make tablets of finasteride. Look at all the success stories using cut up proscar
