I'm 25 and I recently noticed my crown looked very thin and was no longer a single swirl. Is this indicative of thinning or baldness? My dad has a full head of hair at age 64 and only slightly greying, my mom on the other hand has very thin hair and takes medication for hair loss.
I am absolutely terrified at the thought of losing my hair and I wanted to get opinions here before consulting a dermatologist but I have heard most don't know anything about onset hair loss.
Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
