I found this super old school website and this guy is one of the only people I have read that writes about the alcohol used in rogaine can actually have some problems associated with long term use. He talks about the scalp tissue being damaged by repeated exposure to ethanol in rogaine. I mean as previously mentioned this is super old and i'm sure some newer research exists. It was just interesting to read someone claiming that minoxidil could have an adverse affect on hair (via scalp tissue) albeit theoretically. Plus it's super oldschool which is always good.
