is liquid finasteride not as effective?

I'll take more tonight. It should be noted that I used finasteride for a week or so on the back of the head, side, and temples

Wait.. are you rubbing it on your head or taking it orally? Using it topically is probably not effective, or at most, much less effective than oral use. The reason it comes as a liquid is because you got it as a research chemical. Even if finasteride does work topically (unlikely), your liquid finasteride is not formulated to be used as a topical.
