I originally tried finasteride but got side effects, I tried a much lower dose but I still think I had some and I heard 0.2mg would still cause the same side effects as 1mg

If you recovered the first time I'd say a small dose couldn't hurt bro.

I took finasteride about a year and a half ago and got some nasty sides, recovered and j take it now with very minimal sides. Ever since I got back from Vaca a week ago I take .5 one day and .25 the other have no noticeable sides

If you value your hair, then try it. Its no different when a doctor prescribes a medication to you and you decide to take half the dosage just to see if it works just as good and lowers your risk of side effects. Most doctors will advise you to lower the dosage and see how you respond if you get side effects. Otherwise, if you get an adverse reaction they will tell you to discontinue it immediately. Just remember, everyone responds different to medication. If I were in your situation, I would look into getting a consult with a doctor that prescribes topical finasteride. Actually, I may look into it eventually so I can stop taking it orally. The only side effect I have is low ejaculate.

I remember you telling me that >.5 is useless and .25 will probably leave you worse of. What has changed your view?
