Hello everyone! im 25 years old male.

Ive always had iregular hair line, mostly on left side.

I don't take any DHT bloker, because i feel terrible on it.

My father has FULL hair, but my grandpa is bold.

i think about going to surgery to Dr. Maral, but :

1) do i need to take finasteryd to the rest of my life when it's done? i would like to avoid it
2) do i need it right now or is it wise to wait for more hair lose to come and than surgery after my , let's say, 30'?

Thank you for anserw!

first and foremost, no doctor will give you that ridiclious hairline you drew. They typically draw a widows peak similar to your balding pattern in a V.

secondly, you have textbook male pattern baldness at an early age. Having a transplant without finasteride is stupid in almost all cases.

will be playing catch up in no time at all!

Hi, Finasteride is a must. In all cases what you wrote.

What do you mean " catch up" ?

So i shoudl first get on finasteride, and than go do surgery? Is it worth it in my case?

You have to take Finasteride if you have a transplant. I'll explain it very simply. Most likely, you'll continue to bald without the finasteride and need further transplants. And this is the key part, most people don't have enough donor hair to cover the whole area on top. Even those that do have lots of donor and thick hair, it still won't resemble native hair but it's enough.

Joe Tillam had 10k grafts (and you always need FUE and FUT to obtain maximum grafts), his hair is good enough for his age, but it's still thin which he admitted himself. Thin even with a layered hairstyle and hairline / temple points not perfect along with a bald crown.

Your hair looks pretty naturally thin, that will complicate it further with an average donor capacity. Save your youth and prime years simply by popping a pill a day.

Everyone who has transplants is on finasteride basically, even if the pattern is slow/low.

Thank you! You helped me a lot , i appreciate it very much.

Ok so my strategy now is wait ,
if it gets worse i go on surgery and than i'll take finasteride
if it stays like that - fine

Do you think it's wise to do so, or do you think there's a better option?

thank you!
