I've studied this now exhaustively. I say this honestly, I think we will know in the next month or so. Let me explain.
Replicel have partnered with Shiseido since they feel that RCH-01 is a viable solution yielding the closest results to a full head of hair yet. Shiseido (in Japan) are located perfectly, as new laws now render the company able to bring stem cell therapy onto the market much MUCH quicker. Why is this good? Well, because it means if the trials taking place RIGHT NOW are successful, then it could ACTUALLY be on the market by the end of next year. So why the next month? Well, Replicel plans to unveil data for their phase 1 RCH-01 trials after 5 years (which commenced 2012). If the results of this look really promising, then no doubt Shiseido's will too. Studying science tells us results tend to be normally distributed... These results are to be revealed in Q1 of 2017. RCH-01 is, in my mind one of the two promising therapies (Histogen being the other). I believe that this really is the future now. However, if this treatment falls through in its results, or shows large disparity, further tweaking or complete dismissal of the treatment will occur. So in my mind, either treatment will be available in certain countries within 2 years, or you'll likely be waiting at least 5-10 before any hope of something else appears. Even IF Shiseido are successful, it will take a good few years for the treatment to come to the USA, even longer for Europe.
