Is it supposed to be like this??

Ive been on finasteride for 6 months now and nothing has changed, no sign of regrowth and not even a decline in shedding. The hairs that I lose on my head are still thinner and lighter coloured towards the bulb and root. I havent given up hope yet though cause as we all know give it a year blah blah blah and all that sh*t.

Anywayz, now on to wut this post is about-

Well wut ive noticed in the last couple of days is that my eyebrow hair and arm hair that I lose is actually a lot thicker at the root/bulb than it is at the top of the hair. Is everbodys body hair like this? (PLEASE post ur observation of ur body hair, it aint that hard to do takes about 1 sec to pull and look at a eyebrow hair.) Shouldnt it just be the same thickness all the way through?

Or is this a sign that i might be sensative to finasteride and its making me overproduce DHT causing my body hair to thicken??? Also, my acne is fuckin unbelievable right now. Its not going away, 6 months of persistant acne, and persistant is an understatment. I know that if finasteride was inhibiting the production of DHT, then my free floating testosterone would be up. Im not sure if acne is caused by testosterone or DHT, but if it is DHT is this another sign that finasteride is increasing my DHT levels?? Experts help me out here!

The tips of hairs are thinner than the main shaft, this is as true for head hair as it is for that on your arms, legs or eyebrows. The only difference is that haircuts lop off this thin tip long before the hair on your head falls out.
