Is it possible when you're destined to be a Norwood 5 at the end to keep your hair your whole life?
It would be great if you guys would first read my own thread to understand my position. -->http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=58715
For the people who don't want to read the full thread I will copy the most important part below:
Hi all,
I have an obession...
I'm 20 years old and I have awesome thick, dark and curly hair. It's kind of long since a few years and no one knows me without my curls. It's just a part of my identity.
A few years ago I found out that male pattern baldness was genetic. I was shocked... Because:
My dad start going bald in his early 20's
My mothers dad started going bald in his late 20's
In other words: I'M SCREWED!
Since then, there hasn't been a single day in my life that I didn't think about losing my precious hair
Acception is not an option for me, I would do ANYTHING Telogen Effluvium keep my hair like the way it is for at very least till I'm 30.
That's why I need your advice.
Till this day I think there are no big signs male pattern baldness had kicked in. I check my hairline once in the two days and I haven't seen any big changes. Allthough I must say that one day I think I see something but then the other day it's good again.
If I will get the same genes as my dad or my mum's dad I'm destined to become a Norwood 5.
That brings me back to my main question:
IF I respond really well to THE BIG 3 in the future and even start taking them BEFORE I have any signs of male pattern baldness (just to maintain, I heard that the earlier you start, the better the result) and IF money is not a issue (hair transplants...) will I then be able to for an example:
1: Keep a Norwood 1, Norwood 1,5 till I am 30.
2: Keep a Norwood 2 till I am 35-40
3: And then be able to maintain this for the rest of my life?
About the money: it's not that I'm like a really rich guy (and so isn't my family) but I am definitely not poor either
. It's just that my hair is VERY important and if needed I am willing to spend a lot of money keeping it.
Thanks a lot guys!
