For a difuse thinner, is it possible to use just half a capful?? Seems near impossible, how do you know if you are even getting to the scalp and spreading it enough?

Even a capful would be stretching it. What do you guys think as I really want to get along with the foam!

I'm a diffuse thinner too and no I don't think half a cap is enough. I think half a cap would be fine if you were applying it to your crown only which is what the instructions are aimed at.

I use about a cap full to cover the whole top of my head.

Does the bottle literally only last two weeks for you then?

I got a 4 month supply from Biovea for £60 (from the UK). Not a bad price atall but if it was cheaper again I wouldn't worry too much about using more!

Have you got short hair?

I got the same from Biovea. Yeah my hair is shaved really short (no guard).

I'm using foam once a day (AM) and I'm still using up my liquid Regaine stash for PM. My first can of foam hasn't run out yet so can't really tell, but yes I expect it will last a month of once-daily use and therefore 2 weeks if I was using it twice-daily.

I think I'm going to buy some cheap liquid (Kirkland or Spectral) from Biovea for PM use to keep the costs down.

Just applied my first lot. Was good that the foam didn't disolve as put cold water on my hands as instructed.

However, its difficuly to know if you covering the whole area!

Yeah I feel like I need to use at least 3 times as much as it says to cover my hairline + head, so 1.5 capfuls.

If I felt like the systematic absorption and getting through my hair was enough I'd be ok with using less but I am not sure that it is.

I feel the same.

As its not wet, you can't really feel it on your scalp.

How long does a can last for you then? I saw a video of someone on youtube spraying a whole can out into a toliet and there seemed like loads of the stuff!!

I'd be surprised if anyone gets a month out of a can ...I only use it on the crown and still get through about 1.5 cans per month.

At the mo, I'm just using over a capfull. £60 for 4 months is quite reasonable so I will check how long a can lasts me this month..

ive just got my first can too - i have been using spectral dnc-l but im finding it too greasy recently , the formula seems to have changed.

if your covering your whole head like i am half a capful is nowhere near enough and im finding it dries too quickly , trying to rub it in is causing me to pull hairs out of my head - 12 this morning ! ( my hair is about 3 inch long )

it also leaves my hair very dry and seems to make it a greyish colour !

i wouldnt recommend the foam if your hair is fairly long or if you need to cover your entire head , it might be ok for just a bald spot though ...
