Is it possible to regrow hair on recent bald spots?

I am 19 years old and I suffer from miniaturization at a rapid speed. Seems like hair on my head is decreasing while hair on my body and beard is rapidly increasing. Can I get some regrowth on bald spots that have appeared recently since I heard that a hair follicle dies completely in 3 years or something and these damn spots are like 2 weeks old.

It sucks because I am visiting a dermatologist only in 12 days.

If its male pattern baldness then its possible yes but not probable. However if you lost all that hair in just 2 weeks then I very much doubt its male pattern baldness. Are you losing hair in the normal pattern?

If it is male pattern baldness you need to ask your derm about getting some finasteride.
