Absolutely none. Even with 100% success and splitting. Antiandrogens are a must and for a period of at least two years. Once the miniaturization is reversed and the area grows what is there to grow back, you can have a conservative transplant. Estrogen and antiandrogens are the only way for a nw6 to return to nw3 or less. You would be trading your manhood for hair. Easier said than done, considering the body and facial changes that come along.

If the hair loss is stabilized and the donor is good, you won’t need antiestrogens. Check out Dr. Lorenzo or Coutos videos on YouTube. They usually list what medications the patients are on. There are cases with nw5 and 6’s where the hair loss is stabilized and the patients don’t use meds. Won’t feel like solid density though, but it sure looks like it.
