Of course. I had ferritin issues in november, and after 2 months, I had a big shed that left me with a very disgusting diffuse thinning. In theory those lost hairs would come back with the same thickness, color, etc, but if you also have male pattern baldness, those hair will grow thinner thus it will accelerate male pattern baldness. So, yes you might be experiencing Telogen Effluvium and Androgenic alopecia at the same time.
