Is It Possible That I May Be Starting To Lose My Hair At Eighteeen Years Old

Hi,
Although I'm only 18 and hair loss isn't too common at my age compared to others, I've become increasingly worried about it. I've been growing my hair out for about a year now and I enjoy the longer hair style, but there's a spot at the middle of my hairline that looks like the hair is really thinning out and this understandably doesn't look so good with longer hair lol. In terms of hair loss within my family, my father lost his hair in his 20s but he attributes that to stress as the rest of my paternal family has little to no hair loss. My maternal side has no hair loss as well. I've always sort of noticed this thinning spot ever since I started wearing my hair back as it got longer a year ago, but I assumed it to just be the natural part of my hair, not hair loss. It basically runs in line with the natural part I have but it definitely gets bigger towards the front. I'm not sure if I'm just paranoid but I think it may be getting bigger recently and I'm definitely worried. In the past month I have been noticing more hair in my shower and all, so that would be a warning sign. However, I understand that a lot of male pattern baldness starts at the temples, and I have no hair loss there. It seems to be the opposite if anything, since it's at the middle of my hairline. I don't really use harsh chemicals on my hair, I just use some strong product to keep some of my hair from falling down onto my face. I even use some pretty reliable conditioners and all. I'll try to link some pictures below to help and any input or advice is incredibly appreciated because I'm not sure if I'm really losing my hair, or if this is (hopefully) reverseable or what. Thanks.

Probably traction alopecia. Dan Smith from the band Bastille has a "thin spot" in the middle of his hairline. You can see it if he pulls his hair back but it doesn't look bad.

I found a way to post some pictures, does it look like traction alopecia to you or something different? I looked at some pics of Dan Smith and I can see what you're saying though. From what I've heard, traction alopecia is reverseable with a change in hairstyle? Hopefully that's just the case for me.
