is it possible for my cut proscar tabs to be damaged?

When I get the pills I go ahead and cut it for the month ahead. I keep closed in the bottle it came in out of the light. Can the pills become less effective?

Quite possibly. Probably minimally considering you're keeping them enclosed, but still I think its a better idea to cut them as you go (thats what I do)

yeh I just cut one tablet into 5 as I need it, keeping the bits inside the pill cutter in a closed draw (so out of the light)
