Is it okay to use another shampoo along with Nizoral?

I've recently started to use Nizoral twice a week but my hair is too oily to be washed only two times in a week! I'd like to use another shampoo in the other days that I don't use Nizoral, but my mom (she works in a beauty salon and has years of experience in hair stuff) told me that using two shampoos might worsen the condition of my hair and I'll not get the benefit of Nizoral or the other shampoo if I've started to use two shampoos alternately in each day.

Is this true?
I'd like to hear your experiences and if there is no problems at all for using two shampoos, what shampoo do you suggest to use along with Nizoral?

Use oils instead, jojoba, aloe vera, tee trea and castor oil.
