Is it just me or does it seem like for every success story with hair regrowth there is 5 or 6 failures? It makes me feel like my odds aren't good if I start using some lotions and potions

I can tell you that for me propecia did the business with no or little side effects for 5 years, but then you won't have read about it, because back in the day i just used to lurk.
I imagine there's a lot of people just read the advice on here, then get on with their treatments and have great success (and there's nothing wrong with lurking).
We've no reason to doubt the hair growth results from the FDA trials for propecia and minoxidil.
As there's possibly a placebo effect as well, a positive attitude might make all the difference ! Easier said than done i know, but dude think positive, the odds are in your favour. do you feel lucky?

I think you'll find a lot of people just don't want to tempt fate after tehyve had success too...it's an ongoing battle after all...
