Is It Even Worth Treating With This Level Of Minituarization?

I have minituarization like this on both temples and hairline. A dermatologist said I have male pattern baldness just based on this. Is it worth treating with rogaine?

It's just that I don't think Rogaine can do much for minituarization based on what I've read. I fear the "dread shed" making it look even worse.

Listenm saying ''is it worth treating THIS with level of miniaturization'' is stupid. When i saw the title i thought i would see some nord 3-4 pics. You still have a great head of hair.

You could at least try minoxidil 2x a day, nizoral and some supplements until you are fully developped until 19-20 (idk) and then start finasteride in your 20's.

cheers

@Vinc2097 forgive the stupidity of the title. What Norwood am? 1.5 or what? I just here on this forum that rogaine doesn't work or causes hairline to worsen, "the dread shed", etc. It is scary and I am not sure what to think.

I wouldn’t start rogaine. You’ll likely recover some ground you’ve lost (if you’ve actually lost any) but in the long run youll f*** up your hair cycle and be on the stuff for life so I wouldn’t bother. You’ve got age on your side so treatments are on their way.

i'm not using minoxidil anymore anyway too, i agree in the long run using this thing 2x a day for decades is totally sh*t. But if i was him i dont know if i would put my hopes on new treatments too much, as there's definitely no ''cure'' coming in the next 5 years (maybe there will be, but accessible to ''average joe'' : probably not).

I'm not a finasteride user but i feel its the only solution for now.

Sorry bro thought i was replying to OP.

Yeah minoxidil is something that is good until it stops working then is a bit of a dilemma. Are you considering finasteride ?

i was totally against taking it. back in early 2016 when i realize i was losing my hair i told myself i'd never touch it because new treatments would come in 2018-2020.

We are now in this frame time and absolutely nothing came out. So i'm telling myself now if i go buy the same logic ''dont take fina in 2019 because anyway new treatments are coming in 2020-2021'', i might look like a moron in 2021 because there will be still no new treatments..

So to answer your question, i think of starting this year at 0,25 mg daily and see what it does !

I just completely hate the fact of a ''lifetime'' treatment lowering the most prominent male hormone buy 70 %.

@Ollie am I have clear minituarization in the pic I posted. My temples are gone. @Vinc2097 You guys are basically saying there is no hope. What should I try essential oils and a laser helmet????

Essentiel oils would do nothing. laser helmet i dont know i have never used. Your temples are thinning but not gone at all, stop panicking.

you could try 0,5 mg fina once your are 18, so there's not ''no hope'' totally
