Im on finasteride and i see all these success stories on dutasteride but i found someone who still lost on dutasteride. How is that even possible?

Yes! It's unusual, but it happens. It inhibits serum dht by about 90%, but scalp dht is inhibited by around 51% vs 41% with finasteride. 2.5mg of dutasteride inhibits scalp dht by 79%.

Dutasteride may slow down hair loss, or stop it for a while in those who are lucky. There is no such thing as a drug that consistently stops male pattern baldness. A lot of people like to tell themselves its impossible to go bald on dutasteride, but those people have not yet used it. Marginally more effective than finasteride at best, a snake oil at worst.
