Is It Even Possible To Lose Hair While On dutasteride?

Yes! It's unusual, but it happens. It inhibits serum dht by about 90%, but scalp dht is inhibited by around 51% vs 41% with finasteride. 2.5mg of dutasteride inhibits scalp dht by 79%.
Dang so the only way to stop hairloss full proof is by tran hormones?

Dutasteride may slow down hair loss, or stop it for a while in those who are lucky. There is no such thing as a drug that consistently stops male pattern baldness. A lot of people like to tell themselves its impossible to go bald on dutasteride, but those people have not yet used it. Marginally more effective than finasteride at best, a snake oil at worst.

Yes definitely. It’s important to remember that duta isn’t a categorically applicable treatment for hair loss; it only preserves hair that would otherwise be lost to DHT sensitivity. Any loss triggered by factors other than male pattern baldness can and will occur whether duta is there or not. Aging, tight hairstyles, excessive grooming, Telogen Effluvium episodes, fungal infections, seborrheic dermatitis, or extreme DHT sensitivity are all, among other things, capable of causing hair loss while on Duta.
