Is it difficult to apply toppik with longer hair?

And I dont mean long as in past my shoulders I mean around 6 or 8 inches. Can it still look natural that way?

NOTE: I am not badly thinning, just a bit above hairline but still have plenty of hair on top.

I like toppik a lot, but I really hate the thought of being limited of how long I can grow my hair. If I grew it long enough I probably wouldnt even need it as the thinning areas would blend it with my real hair but just in case it doesnt look good I'd like to know if I can still use this concealer.
