Is it a good idea to dye miniaturized hairs?

Will miniaturized hairs in the crown area be less noticeable if you dye it the same color as the rest of your hair?

I am currently a Norwood 3V, and the thinning hair in my crown area is a lot lighter in color than the rest of my hair.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of "non harsh" hair dye that I can use? I have strawberry blonde hair.

Or is it a bad idea?

It can help give the illusion of having a bit more volume. However, using a conventional method of dying your hair when they're already fragile obviously sounds like a bad idea.

I came across a guy on Youtube a few months ago who applies make-up on miniaturized hair with the kind of little brush you'd use for eyelashes to get this effect; it seemed pretty effective. Granted, he had dark hair but I'm sure there's a lighter shade of pigment you could use for blonde or red hair. Of course, it's not permanent, but at least you won't run the risk of losing yet more hair.

Sounds interesting, could you post a link to the video please?
