Is hairloss from 1 year ago completely reversable ?

I have been on pr0cerin scam for 10 months. It did absolutely nothing for my hairloss, and my hairloss continued to procede. I was a good norwood 1.5 at the time, and now I am close to norwood 3V with diffuse thinning all over the norwood 5 area.
Is it possible to reverse all that by going on a finasteride/dutasteride alone, considering that 10 months isn't a long time ? or do I HAVE to go on minoxidil ??

I really dont want to be on minoxidil for the rest of my life, because i fell for some scam product

The hairs that are regrown on finasteride/dutasteride, are they hairs that have been lost within the past 1-2 years ??

Hang in there buddy... just give the meds sometime about a year. I too have lost/thinned i the past 12 months and I am hoping to get back to where I was before.. lets keep our fingers crossed !

i wanna enjoy the peak of my life, not worry about hairloss, but my hairloss progressed quiete a bit in the past year
if i can get back 12 months worth of hair that I have lost, then i'll be happy and be able to live my life like before

I am 26 and I work as a software developer..

I started noticing it about 11 months ago after a shower and obvoiusly i was in denial thinking that it a temporary phenomenon and will reverse it self I waited 6-7 months before i saw some horrific pics of mine in the sun and started on to the regimen saw palmetto intitially for 2 months and then jumped on to propecia....

Keep hoping for the best and dont let this affect your day to day life... concentrate on your school/studies and work. They ll pay for your bills and make you a better person in life and much more.. hairloss is of secondary importance. condole yourself in the fact that there are millions out there with varying degrees of hairloss. sometimes nature can be cruel. just be optimistic and keep doing good deeds in life. What goes around comes around...

i am thinking of starting american crew shampoo/conditioner/spray this week, because i heard that it will give me the best results for recent lost hairs, used in conjunction with DHT inhibitors.


Any other opinions from others who can tell me if 1 years worth of hairloss is completely reversable ??

Your hairloss has progressed substantially to Norwood 3. I am not sure you can get enough regrowth on propecia alone, you will probably need a growth stimulant such as minoxidil.

If I were you I would get onto the big 3---> greatest chance of success.

I haven´t seen many reports of good regrowth using finasteride alone. Seen some of them with the big 3.

the hairs that i have lost are very recent (less than 1 year), why would it be difficult to reverse them with finasteride alone ?

I'd throw minoxidil in there for the best possible chance.

I was apprehensive about it but now that i do it everyday it's just another part of the routine.

I also started noticing about a year ago. I have a doctor's appointment next week so I can finally act on this.

I actually got a thing of minoxidil months ago and never bothered with it because it specifically says for vertex and I am losing it in my temple areas only.
