Is Finasteride Shed Real? Did You Get It? Did You Come Back From It?

Did you get a really bad shed when you started finasteride or dutasteride? How bad did it get? Did your hair get better after the shed or stay the same post shed or return back to its original loss?

did you get a shed but it didn’t make your hair look at different just more hairs falling but made no difference

did you hair recover? Did it look better post shed + finasteride for a couple months then it did pre shed?

did your hair look worse while shedding but slowly got better? Or did your hair shed on finasteride and then never recovered?

In two days I’ll be 2 months into finasteride. I never experienced a shed on finasteride, but I could in the future.

I didn’t shed on finasteride, I just saw regrowth at the back about three months later then maintained. I think shedding is mostly related to minoxidil rather than anti-androgens. I definitely shed from the front with minoxidil and then regrowth came in about 3 months later. That said i may have had a shed from the back when I started Dutasteride so it’s not impossible to shed from anti androgens...

I do have a shedding from topical finasteride. Just started it a bit more than a week ago, the shedding hairs are all thinned.
