Dr. Erdogan‘s clinic has gotten back to me, looking at massive density to my hairline for lowering and complete reshaping 2500-3000 grafts ( i’m only 27, I understand the risks and reasons for not doing that, but I’m also a quadriplegic and don’t plan on living that long of a life, want to make the best of a shitty situation and the short time).

I think the only other two I would consider are Dr. Feriduni and Dr. Konior. I think these are the top three guys in the world, would any of you agree?

Hi

Sorry to read about your situation, but if it makes you happy to get the procedure done and the doctors agree to perform it then there’s absolutely no reason not to if you’re in otherwise good health. All the docs you listed are reputable docs that perform great work so it probably comes down to cost/travel distance with which one you decide to go with.

Best of luck to you!

Still waiting for a reply from The European doctor. But I can’t get a hold of Dr. Konior... Have you heard any rumours that he has like a year-long waiting list?

Solid advice, Istanbul would be the cheapest treatment but the furthest travel, Chicago would be the closest but very expensive and from the pictures I’ve seen I think the guy in Brussels has a slight Edge above these great surgeons

Yes, Dr Konior has close to a year booked timetable to have a procedure done by him, yes that is a long time and yes he is expensive compared to others but he does 1 procedure/patient a day and is completely hands-on and does it all himself and is very meticulous, if he is close to you it might be worth a few more tries in contacting his office and his price and asking to be on his wait or cancelation list if he accepts you as a patient as you’d save yourself the expense and hassle of long-distance travel.

Maybe look into Dr Lorenzo in Spain as well at Injerto Capilar clinic.

If it becomes difficult to book a procedure with any of these doctors than Dr Erdogan in Turkey is a good reasonable choice and the fact that they responded back to you with their assessment is a plus.

Well he must be worth the wait then, the only thing about Dr. Erdogan Is wheelchair accessiblity for his clinic and just the country in general, even one of the main guys in Brussels said his clinic was not accessible, still haven’t heard from Feriduni.

Yes, Konior is worth the wait and if you’re okay with the wait and paying $8-10 a graft. That is a big plus in considering Erdogan and Turkey if they’ve told you that they are wheelchair accessible, also, they perform the procedure in a sitting upright position unlike most all other doctors and clinics whom have patients lying down on their stomach and sides uncomfortably.

$10 a graft!? Are you certain about that, so say I got 3000 grafts I would be paying around $30,000? If that’s the case he must be the surgeon that did Bradley Cooper’s hair transplant, which is probably the best work any of us have seen.

I’m not 100% sure if $10 per graft is Dr Koniors price but like I mentioned it’s in that range and most top doctors in the US charge between $8-10 per graft for FUE, strip FUT I believe they charge a lower price. The reason Dr Konior can command that price is because he only does 1 patient a day and does the procedure himself and is very meticulous and a perfectionist.

Yes, maybe so for 3k grafts it could be up to $30k. I bet Bradly Cooper went to him as well since Dr Konior is in Chicago and Bradley is from there I believe and yeah Bradley’s hair transplant looks fantastic and natural.

Contact the clinic see what they say for your case, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Good luck.

I definitely will thank you for the information, Do you know of any other extremely skilled hair transplant surgeons in the US that specialize in the hairline recovery, If they have the skill and accolades unwilling to pay top price, maybe one that operates within a hospital?

Despite my many attempts to explain my condition, offered to sign a waiver provide a letter of consent from my specialist, etc. Erdogan Will not accept me as a patient... just because I am a quadriplegic unfortunately, I’m not going to live like this much longer and ironically they say it’s for my safety, I just want a good hair transplant well I am here

You’re welcome man, glad to offer any information I’ve learned.

If I were to go to a top skilled US hair transplant Doctor, I’d go with Konior (Chicago), Diep (California), Bloxham (Long Island, NY) they are pricey though. But if I were to go to Canada I’d only go with Hassan & Wong (Vancouver) or Dr Rahal (Toronto). Dr Rahal is around $4 to $5 per graft USD. Of All these I mention only Dr Konior does the procedure himself, the rest do part of the procedure and use experienced techs to do parts as well, but these would be my only choices in the US & Canada if I had to list. You’ll have to contact the clinics to get better details and see if they can help.

Ah that sucks that Dr Erdogan turned you down, but he is also probably thinking how the procedure could affect your body and I’d assume the stress to your body of the long travel to Turkey. I think doctors in the US & Canada have to be more accommodating to disabled patients by law but Turkey is probably different.

Have you looked into maybe a hair piece? I’ve seen videos on YouTube of some of the latest hair pieces/ replacements that guys are doing, even young guys, and they look real good and much better than those of years ago and they’re adheared to the scalp with strong adhesive that lasts for weeks or months. Check them out as a better less stressful and less invasive and less expensive option.

OK great man I’m going to contact most of these guys, I have already reached out to Rahal’s patient services waiting for response, tried to call Konior today no answer at his clinic so left a voicemail.

I have too much hair for a hairpiece I’m just looking to lower my hairline fill in my temples and fix my temple points I’m in Norwood 2-2.5 maybe
