Is DIM safe to take?

I have interest in trying out oral DIM. Can some one recommend an amount, company, etc?? i'm 5'9 and 130 lbs. I've seen DIM in the women's vitamins sections... just wondering if it's safe to take!

Also- anyone else who is taking it orally- comments!?

I wish there was a thread called "who is using DIM please stand up and report your results"! Is there any such thread?

Maybe the question should be what would it do for male pattern baldness in men and what would the side effects be, not "is it safe to take". It is health food stores for women but I am finding very little info for use in men or male pattern baldness. I would think it would be good for hair loss prevention.

So I still don't know the answer yet....what is the difference between DIM and I3C???

If I remember correctly I3C is converted to DIM in the intestines. So taking DIM might be more effective because the process is already done for you.
