Is copper really an SOD?

I always read here that copper is an SOD (superoxide dismutase), an anti oxidant that can destroy the free radical Superoxide.

But are there any sources for that?? I don't know. The Tricomin website itself (here) refers to this study:

Effects of glycyl-histidyl-lysyl chelated Cu(II) on ferritin dependent lipid peroxidation.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that study says that copper DOES NOT have an effect on SOD: "Whereas GHK:Cu(II) inhibited ferritin iron release it did not exhibit significant superoxide dismutase-like or ceruloplasmin-like activity."

Does anybody know some other study that proves copper is an SOD? Or is it just bullshit?
