Today I closely inspected my scalp and I have alot of dry skin. Never had this before. For the past month or so I have been experiencing alot of itching. I don't know what to do anymore. I use nizoral 2-3 times per week and even began using cu peptides, which seemed to make things worse. Today the itching seems to be even worse, been itching all day. I don't know what else to do but stop using revivogen! It is driving me nuts!! I could bare the itching before and now I can't. I was thinking of adding in spironolactone again, but that is totally out of the question now. I think I might throw in the towel. All this irritation is just going to make matters worse. Any suggestions?????

I am close to throwing in the towel also... All because of irritation. If this wasnt an issue I would be dancing on f*&ing clouds. Last thing I am going to try is hydrating my scalp as reccommended by cassin.

Hydrating your scalp prior to application of topicals?? Is that what you mean???

For me.......Hydrating my scalp AFTER I used shampoo was a huge factor along with dumping regular PPG minoxidil..

Think of how much alcohol in topicals and nizoral dries our scalp out!

Use the thickest shampoo or conditioner you can find. I use TIGI BED HEAD: Moisture Maniac as it is thicker than body lotion.

Hey guys..

I feel ya... itching is a b**ch!

GET SOME EMU OIL !!

Put the bottle into some hot water, so that it gets warm.. the emu oil will thin inside the bottle.

Get a medicine dropper and apply it to your scalp as you would minoxidil... don't go soaking yourself in the stuff, just a few drops should do. Move your head around so that it disperses nicely and absorbs.

After a few days of using it (I use it after my evening shower when scalp is semi-damp), you should notice it soothes your scalp and reduces itching.

I've reduced my Folligen application to about 1x weekly.. same with nizoral... cause both caused me itching.

Yeah emu oil is great, but it is so expensive. That's all I need to do is spend more money a month on my hair. How much do you pay for the emu??

My itch went away after I stopped jerking off. I know I´m gonna get creamed ... oh bad word ... I know I´m gonna be the laughing stock after posting that remark but hey it´s what happened.

GET YOUR *** TO THE DERMATOLOGIST WITH A LIST THAT YOU SPEND HOURS MAKING UP CONTAINTING ALL THE THINGS YOU EAT, HAVE ALLERGIES TO AND DO. THE MORE INFORMATION YOU GIVE THEM THE MORE THEY CAN DO TO HELP YOU.

in the mean time, consider anti inflamitory medication or antihistamine's they basically stop your body reacting so crazily to things on the skin(which is what causses rashes itches etc). It won't solve your problem but it may calm the itching until you go to the dermatologist and get it sorted.

GOOD LUCK MAN!

I have cut back on the nizoral and cu peptides. I guess maybe I'm just sick of using revivogen too.

Sounds like a case of the try some Emu Oil to me !

;)

Alright so get a bottle, warm it up in hot water, (thins the oil inside)...then apply it after you're done letting your evening topicals soak into your scalp.. apply the emu oil just like you would minoxidil.

Let it soak in, it's good stuff, should help and heal you a lot.. within a short period of time.

You can't over-use the stuff either, more is better but after a thin layer is applied, you're good to go, no NEED to put more on ;)
