was usin rogain, silica,nizoral and prgesterone cream had some pretty good grow back but wasnt quite happy. Rogain got to expensive so I went generic(TOP CARE), then started using B complex vitamins(B6,B12,Biotin) got rid of silica and started shedding like a fool!! What gives? I thought minoxidil was minoxidil did not matter whether it is Rogaine or generic? I just recently started using emu oil also and gave up the progestorone creme..

I use 3 brands of minoxidil. I use all of them at the same time! Most of the time I use only 2 or so.

Always easy into a treatment.


I am curious what others have to say about your shed.

WOW 3 brands at the same time!! Isnt that expensive? How do you apply all three? I assume spread them out through out each week right? Which brands do you use and how has your success rate been?

yeah i was ok until I seemed to jump to generic? makes me wonder if Rogain does something a bit different than the generic guys who knows. I just hate startin over thats all. Im gonna stick with the generic for 3 months or so along with my other produts and see if things turn around?

I bought too much minoxidil because I thought some of it didn't ship etc.

I have 2%, 5% and 15%. I use it once a day. I just pick whatever I want to use and use it lol. If I don't mind my scalp being wet I put a lot of 2% on with some 5% or 15%. But most of the time just some 5% foam and a little 15%.


I just do whatever. It seems to be working great. I highly recommend dr. lees 15% minoxidil solution...and everything else he makes.
