This is what many of the companies are planning to do (Replical, even Histogen). So, transplanting DHT resistant hair seems to be the main theme for many new treatments.

Replicel isn't using epithelial cells tho. Dermal sheath cells are mesenchymal cells like DPs. And histogen has nothing to do with cells.
On a sidenote, today I had one of those "It's real" moments when thinking respectable scientists are actually trying to bring cloning to market. Anyone ever get those?

It gets "real" when the bullet hits the bone or, in this case, the DS cells hit my scalp.

Looks like it's only Tsuji. Some big players like L'Oreal and Shiseido are probably researching stem cells on the side but there's nothing in the pipeline afaik...
