What do you do when ketoconazole isn't enough to prevent inflammation of the hair follicle?

I seem to get very aggressive inflammation all over my scalp. Especially in the crown and temporal areas. I use Nizoral/T-gel to combat the inflammation but it's never enough. After taking a shower the itching/inflammed sensation reappears within a short space of time. Sometimes a few hours , sometimes instantly. I've tried a lot of products to combat inflammation and the only two that have seemed to work are finasteride and spio. Unfortuenatly both of these have given me side effects. I know that inflammation aggravates my hair loss and would like to stop it now. What else is there I can do?

If I had inflammation problems, I would turn to emu oil first then maybe a copper peptide solution .

How would copper peptides address inflammation?

I've use emu oil , but it is very hard to apply to the scalp when you have hair. It usually comes in a thick lotion rather than a liquid. It along with the other oils I use only seem to work for as long as I have them on, which typically is during the night.

Any other suggestions?
