Important question regarding finasteride storage

Hi, sorry if this sounds like a silly question.

Im thinking about purchasing 5mg of proscar and cutting it into pieces. Im only going to be taking 0.6 gram a day. Therefore a single 5mg pill should take a while to use. What type of conditions should i keep the other cut pieces? Is it ok to put them in plastic drug bag? I want to maintain the quality. Also is there a differance in results in using the 1mg and the 5mg (obviously i will cut the 5mg)

I usually chop mine up and store it in a pill container and put it in a cool dark place in my bathroom. I think im using the box that my old Saw Palmetto came in, its air tight (I think) so thats what i go with.

just make sure to only cut one pill at a time

meaning don't chop 6-9 pills at time

remember to keep your cut pills in an airtight container away from sunlight

Most pill containers would be airtight wouldnt they? Just always wanted to know as i throw my propecia into my old Vitamin E Pill box. When you screw the top on that would have to be a Airtight environemnt wouldnt it
