doses up to 5mg are considered safe long term doses.
doses as low as 0.2mg have been shown to be almost as effective as 1mg
Larger doses of 50mg a day have been trialed for months with no ill effects
Single 400 mg doses have also show no (short term) ill effects

0.2mg will save less hair than 5mg
0.2mg will have a lower incidence of side effects than 5mg
or put the other way around.
5mg will save more hair than 0.2mg
5mg will have a higher incidence of side effects than 0.2mg
That is the more DHT you stop the higher the rate of side effects.
but the relationships between high and low doses is not linear, for example:
if 2.5mg increases haircount by 25%,
double that dose (5mg) may only increase haircount by an additional 5%, taking the figure to 30%, not the expected 50%.
(figures not real, just as an example!!)
1mg is considered a good 'compromise' dose for male pattern baldness, stops enough DHT, whilst having a fairly low incidence of side effects (~2%)
So, you need to make the choice, do you think 0.625mg is enough for you?

I would say 'no' it would have no real detrimental effect as finasteride serum levels build up slowly over days.
