Importance of frame

There are many guys that say having nw3(a) is much more better then nw5 or 6.
As a matter of fact, it is not just that. Our hair have NO other function then aestethical!
And in terms of aestethical function, MAIN things is our hair is giving a FRAME to our face, just like nice frame is giving a fullness to some image.

At nw3(a) 90% of our frame is LOST. When hair is buzzed, there are no SIGNIFITCANT differences between nw3[a(with vertex spot)] and Norwood 5.
Slight differences depending person head or style are possible.

So, in developed nw3, 80% of people consider us to be bald. Couse when they see no frame at the front, and bald spot on vertex, we automaticly drop in "bald category".
Not to mention that lot girls (if they are forced to choose) would pick some totally shaved nw5, then grandpa styled nw3 or 4.

we know, we know, baldness sux.

not much we can do unless we r good responders to minoxidil and finasteride, and im NOT

and the side effects arent worth it for me just for mediocre gains.

if i could grow it all back, id deal with the side effects, but they just make me shed.

so all ur doing is making us feel bad!

I understand what you're saying, there comes a point where buzzing it off looks better than having grown out balding hair, but that's definitely not at the NW3 stage, more like NW4-5 level.

Also girls, contrary to what you belive, really cannot tell much difference between a NW1 and a NW3. They might think subconsciously that a NW3s hair looks weird or that he has an uneven looking hairline, but for them "bald" is NW5+ or any guy who chooses to shave it all off regardless of Norwood status.

Personally, I haven't had one joke comment from a female over the last 12months about my NW3 hair, men are the ones that make the comments because they're the ones who actually understand and recognise what male pattern baldness looks like, not women.

.... On another note, Gascoigne, did you watch any of that Turkey v Portugal playoff game on Friday night? Absolute Shocker!! :dropmouth: :punk:

Unless you're slicking it back and cutting your hair in such a way that accentuates the hairline, i.e. buzzing it really short at the front, then in my experience few girls notice. They just think, "oh that guy's got an uneven looking hairline/ a big forehead" not "OMFG that guy has a NW3 he is so going bald!" I only get those comments off men... so far anyway.

Gossips columns about celebrity hairloss in girls magazines don't represent the general norm, very few of them are Norwood spotters, and have no clue about baldness. For most of them, "baldness" is a bald head, not a receding hairline.

Some guys however don't know how to utilise their NW3 hair and buzz it all down really short and in those cases I agree, you might as well be a buzzed down NW5 because all you can see is no hair at the front. They make themselves look balder than they actually are.

Name me one male pin up that has ever existed that has a norwood 3 (grown out) Just 1!

Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood and as mentioned before Gordon Ramsey had a grown out NW3 and nobody ever reffered to him as bald/balding.

BTW Gascoigne posted this exact same thread in the impact section there are more replies over there.

Portugal was not bad, bosnian guys are matching them up.

I knew someone would mention Bruce Willis. He is renown for being a good looking man with most of his hair and with none but was he a pin up? I don't lknow! Clint was a norwood 1.5 - 2 and when he was considered an attractive man to women below 40 and Garden Ramsey pleeeasssse tell me he isn't considered a pin up. Besides he's a norwood 2.

ps I am retracting nw1 status being a pre requisite and I am adjusting to anythign above 2  But I'll stand by that cough cough...

Oh and Jude Law, Freddie ljungberg and Calum Best aswell, and as for Ramsey I did specify that my point with him was that no one considered him balding he was a NW3 before his hair transplant he just combed it over his temples.

As for why you cant get back with those women its much more likely that if it did'nt work out in the first place why would they want to go back for more. You cant blame a tiny bit of ageing for that.

Ok, pin ups are a bad example of anything. When do you see pinips that arent ripped, or at least in good shape? When do you see pinups that are average looking? When do you see pinups that have a tad bit of acne?

The fact is that there are so many guys to choose from, pinups basically have to be perfect. So NW3, or even NW2 is out. But for regular life, not many people consider NW3 guys to be bald in the least. The only way they would notice your balding is if they are balding themselves! Other people will either not think you are balding, or just think you have a big forehead. Its not until NW4 or NW5 that people notice. NW4's can somewhat hide it, as long as theres no bald spot.

Perfect example, my uncle recently has "gone bald". He was 33 then, and basically was a NW4.5. I was only 17 at the time and not yet a Norwood spotter. When he took off his hat I was like "WHOA what happened to your hair?"(in my head ofcourse). Looking at pics of him when he was about 30, I can totally see the recession and thinning. At 30 he was at least a NW3, lots of thinning, and combed it so it hid a little. But to me at 14/15 he was just a guy with a full head of hair. I think women are the same, they dont worry about hairloss at all, so only the most extreme cases are "bald" or "balding" to them.

Comparing the hairline of an avergage person to a pinup, is like comparing the average penis of a guy to that of a pornstar. Doesnt make much sense.

Well guys, my NW3 forehead looks pretty fucked right now and has done for the last couple of years to be honest. Not much frame there at the moment.

I can really notice it when I walk into a shop and see my side profile on one of those cctv monitors from a side angle. My forehead just looks really large, broad and way out of proportion with the rest of my face! :woot:

... but f*** it, doesn't seem to be bothering the women right now anyway... I can safely say I have never been more successful in my life with girls than I am at this moment.... Confidence might not frame your face, but it definitely helps improve how other people percieve you...

i.e. being the cool, high status, high energy guy that people like and not the negative, boring, balding/big forehead loser that I could so easily be, if I chose to wallow in self pity everyday and be lazy about the rest of my appearance and demeanour. :jackit:

Is callum best a pin up? Lungberg doesn't grow it out!

Jude Law granted but he was so famous before I don't know if that effects the mentality of it.

And it didn't work out with those girls in the first place because I chose for it not too, not the other way round or I would not have had the temerity to proposition them again would I.

Is Callum best a pin up? Have you seen some of the Women he's F**ked! Ljungberg has been shaving for a few years now but he did used to grow it out 6/7 yrs ago when he clearly had recession. He must be on meds though because how can a guy hit NW3 so young and then not progress at all for about 7 yrs?

And as for Gordon Ramsey if anybody did'nt believe he was a NW3 look at this pic.

Na, he has got worse. From behind he has the typical Norwood 5/6 hairloss. Also the front is getting worse. It also always seems worse on the pitch then on photos, so maybe there is some editing involved. I dunno.

He looks much worse on the photo with grown out hair. He should keep it shaved like on the first photo.

I have tried it on with quite a few women who I either had been offered, or had sexual relations in the past and got blown right out of the water.

While I'm sure very few of these women regard me as balding, there was something physical about me they no longer liked. It's happened time and time again as well and this is by women who offered it up on a plate in the past.

I'm 99% sure it's all in your head. What's probably really happening is that you're conscious about your hairloss and you are not as confident as you used to be and women notice that. Of course there's a chance they like you less because of hairloss, but I doubt that's what is really happening here.
