Say I get a donor with a close MHC as mine. I can take his hair correct?
at worse what will happen? worse case the body rejects the forign fallicle, or can there be greater damage?

Worldofwarcraft no need to make fun of any other ideas or suggestions exept the big3, proven treatments etc etc. There are very few people here who would dissagree that the best course of action you can take for your baldness is either the big3 or a hair transplant.

But there are people here with enough scientific knowledge to answer questions like that, if fact i think we have some doctors or medical students with us. I was always wondering about this, a whole kidney can be transplanted even not with 100% match why not some hairs? I have so many sisters and cousins with hair like mine, say i had much money to spend, couldnt they "lend" me some? Only thought that kept me from asking it is that if it was possible it would already be out by now.

if organ transplants are done without 100 precent match, and can still be sucsessfull - meaning no need for immuno suppresents, then I'm sure the same can be done with hair. But im nit sure about the above

the MHCs of both the recipient and the donor would have to be identical if you dont want any complications.... and youre not gonna get that unless you have an identical twin. even if it matches.. let's say... 5/6... you still run a chance of your body rejecting it. plus, the disadvantages of being on immunosuppressants outweigh the advantage you get from keeping your hair.
