I'm thinking about stopping Rogaine :/

Hello everyone. I'm 17 and my hair is gradually thinning. Its very stressful and I gotta say it does get me down every now and then but I know that I must keep my head up and go on trying to problem solve. Anyway, I've been using Rogaine foam for a little over a month now and im considering stopping the usage and I want to ask the community if this is a good idea or not. If you could please give me answers to each one of my numbered concerns I would greatly appreciate it. I'll lay out my reasons:

1. First off, I use it for receding hairline/ hair loss on the scalp. On the package it says its not used for that but ive researched quiet a bit and apparantly it does help regrow hair on the scalp. In the back of my head I still worry that I'm just wasting my time.

2. Its very time consuming. It takes at least 5 minutes for me to massage in well. Sometimes I get lazy and and half-rub it in but then i feel that none of it goes into my scalp.

3. It feels like most of the foam goes into my hair instead of my scalp. I do part it and apply directly to my scalp but i still feel most of it goes into my hair and its very concerning. I need to know if thats just in my head or not because my hair is always wet afterwards when i feel it shouldnt be.

4. This one really concerns me. Recently, its been making my hair very weak after I shower. I fear that its damaging it to the point where I will have a bald spot rather than just thinning hair. Can Rogaine foam cause your hair to be weakened and break apart?

5. It isn't showing signs of improvement. Sure, its only been a month. But i just dont wanna be wasting my time if all the trouble doesnt have a good outcome :/

There are probably more reasons why Rogaine is irritating for me. Please give me your thoughts on what I should do, and if you could, id love if you could answer my points one by one. Thank you, and Ill look forward to all the answers and I'll try to get back with each of you.

Gotta stick with it at least 3 months before it takes full effect. It's really really really really hard to stick with it when you see shedding, but it should stop soon, and that's when the hairs start to grow.

Yep stick with it, I'd also look at getting a bit of topical inhibition of DHT, perhaps via nizoral or another shampoo with Ketoconazole in it.

Thanks for the kind answers and im looking forward to more from the community. I'll probably just keep up with it, but 2 problems really concern me:

The first is I feel up half a capful but not all of it goes into one spot. I usually have to break it up into 5 or 6 spots. I worry that I wont get the full effects after 3 months. Should I just put it all on the receding hairline and does the effect just automatically go to other thinning parts on my scalp?

The second has to do with the medication drying out my hair. I really feel that its breaking it apart and making my bangs extremely unhealthy. Is this in my head?
