Im shedding help!!!!

Im taking 1.25mg of finasteride every day and using kirkland minoxidil two times a day once in morning and one before bed. Im also using nizoral. Whenever i rub my hair with minoxidil im getting a handful of hair from rubbing it in to scalp. Should i quit or what i dont want to go bald from minoxidil.

IMO shedding is a good thing. Always depends, but I would suggest giving it a year at the very least.

Stay positive always, what is most likely happening is that the hair is falling and being replaced by better hair.

I agree with the post above.

Just one important question:

How long have you started minoxidil and propecia ?

If you began just a few weeks or a month ago, you should defenatly wait at least 5 more weeks before even thinking about stoping the treatment.

it's normal to shed at beginning of the regiment... same happened to me.
I've been reading that it is also normal to experience cycled sheddings that dimuish in frequency and intensity.

I'm at month 5 on propecia and minoxidil... and i've started to shed again scary! :shock: but might just be a new cycle of anagen hairs coming out. I'll wait it out until mid november to see what happens.
